Highlight for T26 Term 3 Week 5 - Digital Ignition Technology Workshop and Assembly

The students were listening well to the introduction of what to do and what not to do on the chromes.

T26 were presenting their item and story of the Maori Legend of the seven whales and the powerful Tohunga.
The students are working together as a group in learning how to press different buttons on the chrome and what comes out of it.
T26 were running the Tumanako Assembly this week. Joseph and Ilaisaane were leading it for us and Utuma'oe and Toko were Spotters for the best class.
T11 were presenting their item and some of their works.
Year 3 teachers were presenting Certificates for the best achievers of the week and followed by Y4 teachers.

T 26 - Highlight of Term 3 Week 4 - These children are settling in to their learning and they are keen and responsible for their own learning.

Highlight for Term 3 Week 3 - The Tumanako are preparing the children for Cross Country running

The children are listening to all the instructions of what they suppose to do while running on the Cross Country.

They are all listening well and keen to try it out. At the end of these practices , we'll choose the children to represent Rowandale School for the Year 3 / Y4 Cross Country

Highlight for Term 2 Week 6 Two More Weeks to go for Swimming at the Recreation Centre then it Will be Over

Highlight for Term 2 Week 4 - We were working on our Solar System and Tumanako Assembly to end up our week.

The children were working hard in our Solar System study this week.

They really enjoy trying to complete their work for the solar system.

T26 Highlight for T2 Week 3 - It was a busy week with a lot of trips to support our studies.

This is the introduction of the Science Roadshow on our Thursday trip.

This is one of the Quiz activity that the children were working on at the Stardome on our Wednesday trip to One Tree Hill for our study on Solar System.


Lina was riding on one of the Roadshow activity while the other children were waiting for their turn.


These were some of the activities that the children were doing when they arrived from the Park and Walk in the morning
before school started. They write their names on these leaves and stick it on the tree.

Term 2 Week 1 - We start our new Term with Swimming and the Opera singing in schools

The children were keen to get into the water and start with their lesson in the pool.

The children were learning one to one with their Instructor.

T26 - Week 11 - Highlight of our last week of Term 1






Our last week - we had our learning, as usual, we did writing, then students moved out to write in their groups, then we had our shared session as a whole class sharing their stories that they were writing. It was great to have parents joining us in class this week. Thank you for supporting us with the learning and the shared lunch.

Our children are getting ready for our swimming lesson to help them learned how to swim for their safety in the water.
This is our Tumanako's last assembly to celebrate our children's achievement of the week.
